About the area - Pecan Grove is located a short distance from Interstate 75, on Sam Nunn Blvd. in Perry, Georgia. Perry is known as the crossroads of middle Georgia. The Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agri-center are one of Perry’s major landmarks, providing jobs and drawing thousands of visitors each year.

The major employers include: Frito-Lay, Purdue Poultry, Blue Bird Bus and Blue Bird Motor Homes. Robins Air Force Base and Amazon distribution center are nearby and continue to grow and bring new jobs to Houston County. Houston County enjoys one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state.
